DoubleTree by Hilton San Francisco Airport North Bayfront

The hotel was fantastic (especially after staying in some pretty questionable hotels on our road trip that were not supposed to be questionable) the rooms were clean, no weird smell in the rooms, the beds were comfortable, they were very accommodating. We stayed in a dog friendly room with our dog and the room was so nice you would not have known it was pet friendly. The bathroom was clean, weird spot on the mirror and some water stains. But the water pressure was actually great for California and the hot water was HOT but the faucet handle is the opposite. Cold is hot and hot is cold. The hotel was one of the best prices around for what we were needing. So expectations weren’t sky high. But it was clean, friendly, front desk was fast, rooms were big and comfortable. Cable tv worked great. They had coffee in the room with little creamer pods. Floor was clean, toilet, shower, sink, everything was clean. Location is good. Right next to the airport so it is a little loud sometimes but my 3 year old slept through it great. Room was quiet. If you’re wanting a safe bet to lay your head for the night without cockroaches, cigarette smells, pee smell, questionable people in the lobby, then this is the place to stay. Overall fantastic experience. There was some hidden fees. Like the parking and service fee and some other things they didn’t mention or show the price of which was a little frustrating. It added another $70 on our hotel bill. But it was nice, clean and basic.

We stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton San Francisco Airport North Bayfront last night and had a wonderful experience, especially thanks to Natalie at the front desk. Before arrival, I contacted the hotel regarding a possible upgrade, and Natalie was extremely kind and professional. She explained that the hotel was very full but assured me she would do her best. I also mentioned that this stay was for a birthday celebration. To our surprise, at check-in Natalie upgraded us to a bay-view room (although suites were completely sold out) and even prepared a thoughtful birthday welcome bag to celebrate with us. As a Hilton Gold member, I truly appreciated the effort and sincerity Natalie showed, especially on a fully booked night. Her attention to detail and genuine care made our stay feel warm and memorable. The only small downside was the $45 per night parking fee, which felt quite expensive. It would be even better if hotel guests—or Hilton Gold members—could enjoy complimentary or discounted parking. That said, the excellent service we received still made this a very positive stay overall. Highly recommend this hotel, and special thanks again to Natalie for her outstanding service!

This area great place sleep and to stay away from all the commotion in the San Francisco area. 15 minute drive to Chinatown and 18 minutes to the piers. I would have given this place five stars,but twice the fire alarm went off and nobody gave us an an excuse or explanation. We found out it was a false alarm from other tenants.

Very close to airport. Nice and neat rooms. Well maintained. Good service.

The room I stayed in had a malfunctioning AC unit. It technically worked, but it was so loud that I couldn’t sleep. Since I arrived at night and tired, I tried to get through the first night, but I contacted maintenance the following morning. The maintenance team was prompt and replaced the unit; however, the replacement process caused dust to spread in the room, which triggered my allergies. During my stay, I received messages asking for feedback. I responded with the issues I was experiencing, but I never received any acknowledgment or follow-up - it felt like automated messages being sent repeatedly. One additional improvement that would enhance the guest experience is offering an airport shuttle service.

The rooms are great. They have some awesome cookies. The breakfast is well worth the cost plenty of options and the restaurant is clean. The only down side for me was trying to get my invoice. I had to jump through hoops to get one emailed to me. But that was my problem. The place is great quite and relaxing.

Beautiful welcome at the Concierge at the reception they very available and professional unfortunately there is no shuttle and Uber. It’s not cheap as you think since it’s very close to the airport they charge extra forget at this hotel. It’s disappointing. I had a room with a view very beautiful for sunrise 20 minutes walk there is a business area with selection of food

Stayed here 2 nights. Experience was fine , customers service was fast & friendly and friendly texts throughout my stay which was nice. Hotel room was a little dated but for the price it's expected. My only complaint is the hotel walls are paper thin all night, I was hearing the people next to us, coughing and early in the morning they woke up and was talking very loud, which I can hear clearly in my room. We did not use the pool or fitness center we did go look at it ,both looked clean. Just wish the restaurant onsite offered a la carte items for breakfast. They offer a breakfast buffet which we were not interested in. Overall stay was good ,reasonable price room, friendly service & hotel was clean.
